After being so poorly for two weeks and house bound, I finally felt well enough for a Trip to Restaurant for Lunch last Thursday. I love to walk albeit Slowly on my Oxygen, But as I own a second hand 3 wheeled Mobility Scooter, I thought I would get some Practice in.........What a Laugh we had, Reverse Hubby said, NO, not into those People..Oops, sorry, up the Ramp I go on Slow Speed, only out for an hour, it was worth it....Friday is Retail Therapy Day, in our Small Shopping Centre...Day 2, on Scooter..... I need "L " Plates, I felt like "Madge" from Benidorm. I got the hang of it eventually, so much so that Hubby phoned me in Wilko, "Where are you" he says, after I had Zoomed past the Detergents and onto Dog Food.. We met up at the Sweet Aisle, so Romantic. Well, what a Hilarious Day it Turned out to be, pedestrians got in my way, bet generally they were very Curtious, and the Children wanted to Hold Doors open without hesitation...I felt an Achievement on my Scooter, I laughed so much looking at the nervous grimace on my Hubby's face, Hubby had a few extra grey Hairs at the end of the day. I have promised myself the Scooter is only for getting around the shops, I must walk to Exercise and carry on with my "Pedometer" for " Steps to the Moon" for BLF.....Can't wait for Next Friday........Carolina & Worn out Hubby XXXXXX

Mobility Scooter out of Control
That made me smile Carolina and your scooter escapades are a force to be reckoned with 😂
Pete nearly took out a shelving unit in a Lakeland store once. Now that did make everyone look.
Happy Easter xxxx 🐣🐇
Thank You Happyjo. Yes, have to stay Positive and make every Day count. Love n Hugs. XXXX
Hi Carolina, that gave me a real laugh, Madge from Benidorm? I can just imagine the shoppers running for their dear lives. You keep going and keep laughing, it certainly is the best medicine ! X
I laughed at your day out on your scooter! When I went with my sons to a large shopping centre and hired one the first thing I did was drive straight into Waterstones window at what seemed an enormous speed! Fortunately there was no damage to anyone or thing, but my sons, then teenagers, refused to acknowledge me! I learnt a lot from that collision. I love my scooter, it gives me independence and you can get some fresh air. Enjoy it, but make sure you approach slopes straight on, especially with a three wheeler, as it is quite easy to fall off, as I have found to my cost! All the best xx
Your's was scary and for your sons to disown you, Kids !!!
Yes, I was aware of the 3 wheeler and falling off, my Friend couldn't stay on it, hence why I bought it. Pleased to say have stayed up right so far. You would think I had never Driven a car. But it is so much Fun and my antics Yesterday made a lot of People laugh, That's what it's all about...
Happy Easter my Dear to you and family.. Carolina xxxxx
Thank you, a happy and blessed Easter to you too. As regards scooters, they are bad enough to get used to as a car driver, for those who have never driven it must be quite difficult. The problem I had was that, having ridden a bike for years, I pulled the brakes on to stop! Doesn't work that way! I am used to it now but still have to concentrate! My sons are a bit more helpful too. We are spending tomorrow with younger son and family, an Easter egg hunt for the children is in the programme I believe. Will be great. xxx
Haha what an adventure you had, this has really brightened an otherwise very grey morning, thank you! 🌞
So Glad it Brightened your Morning..Yes, very Grey Here, But I'm Sure The Sun is Just around the Corner. That will make us all happy .. Happy Easter Hun. Carolina XXXXX
Carolina,i hope you remembered we drive on the left in the UK,i have a Quickie Salsa motorised wheelchair inherited from Cecilia,at approx 110 kilos you can do some serious damage to people and tend to have automatic right of way in a supermarket,i remember well the sense of fear and trepidation your hubby felt,i suffered likewise whilst Cecilia just went hell for leather and had a manic grin on her face.Glad you enjoyed your day out but we need to get you back on 2 legs to keep up that fitness regime..........love skis and scruffs xx
Hola, Skis y Scruffita, thanks for your memory of shopping with Cecilia, I can also claim to have that same determined look, will have to give it a name? Yes, my Friend I agree, only once a week on scooter, the rest I walk. Go for assessment on the 5th for rehab, so need to build my Strength up for that. I will however, ride there as it's only around the corner from where I live .Wishing you Both a Happy Easter. Feliz Semana Santa. 🐣🐰🐇🐥🎉🎊Xxxx Carolina xxxx
Although completely non religious i do miss the processions and all the regalia that you get over the Easter period in Spain,it's so well done, theatrical and colourful it's a joy to behold.

Do you know, I replied to you today while at my in laws as we were all having Hair cuts, group thing. I look to re read it and it's GONE.?... I replied re Samana Santa. My Great Granddaughter ,lives in the Town Centre, in an Edificio. So she has prime viewing of all the Processions from her Balconies. Yes, I miss all those colourful sights having been part of them for many years myself. I recieve all the photos videos, from different parts of Spain. My Spanish in laws, Madrid, my good Friend, Valencia. Others, Orihuella. ....well at least I have superb Memories as you do.
