Cold air can exacerbate breathing problems even when the sun is shining. Perhaps when you put the stuff in the shed, also dust and if you have resident mice or rats in the shed if droppings have built up, that is also not very good for breathing.

You may also be coming down with a lung infection, perhaps have a telephone appointment with your doctor explain symptoms.

Usually when my airways narrow outside of usual morning / night inhaler meds, I use the ventolin inhaler with a spacer to see if that helps improve things

Hope you feel better soon. Take good care.

I’m always out of breath when doing things with my oxygen on even though my SATs are 98. I have been told oxygen is only there to prevent deterioration in vital organs. However SATs of 89-91 are a bit low as mine at rest are 92-94. A phone call to the GP or nurse would be good move

I do not need oxygen when resting either. What are your SATs with oxygen on and doing stuff

When I had a chest infection recently my oxygen sats were down to 90 and 91 but they have come back up now between 94 and 96. - infection is just about gone.

Being breathless and having low oxygen do not necessarily go hand in hand, there are times when I can get breathless turning over in bed. Oxygen is, as has been said to protect vital organs of those of us who have oxygen levels that drop below the accepted levels.
