Hi all, as the title says, that's my daily morning walk to work and after over 3 months off I'm feeling every step in every part of my body. Kind of feels good.
Only on phased return of 5 hours a day for now but it's great to be back.
Think I'm having more issues with my tummy than breathlessness at the moment but that's getting better.
Bad news is I lose my job at the end of April as we're closing down. Don't know what I'm going to do with myself and this has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, but there are many many more people here who are in much worse positions and reading all the positivity will keep me going.
Take care everyone

Losing your job is going to be a right bummer. A bit of a culture shock too. If you are going to have any chance of getting another job you must keep exercising and get as fit as possible. You must also find a reason to get "up and atom" in the mornings as well, it is all too easy to slip into bad habits and come the day you, hopefully, get another job, you will find it really hard to get back into the routine. At 50 you are far from washed out, I'm 68 this year and still going as strong as ever.
I love my work, for all sorts of positive reasons and so thankful that I did not give it up. I often get asked why I don't retire, but I can only smile at them. I have tried to explain to people that I don't because it benefits my health but they only see me as an old(er) sick person who should be retired. I've now given up wasting my breath trying to explain, a smile does not take any breath to make.
I love my job, probably the people more, I've already had the feelers out and may have got myself a little part time job, if that falls through I will have a Christmas job at the very least. Can't see myself not working, it just won't register lol.
