As life can be testing at times, it will help you set the day..in bed before getting up..even while you are making that early cup of tea, earphones in, breathing, relaxing, chasing the demons away, feeling refreshed..
Good to hear from you. How are you’re eyes. My husband went to see his surgeon this morning to have laser treatment on the eye that hasn’t had the cataract done, and then he’s to have the cataract removed from that eye.
I understand your husband now it is a real handicap.
Right eye is healing but flashing and itchy, and the surgeon has only been able to correct some. He said I wasn’t shortsighted from that eye anymore, I thought in his dreams. I am still long-sighted and astigmatic apparently, left-eye to be done on Tuesday so my life is a blurr! I just wear those special sunglasses I bought, thank goodness for those.
Why did he have the laser done by the way?
Anyway I certainly commiserate..I am lucky to be in the nursing home, and to be able to listen to the radio! Also to have an iphone with dictation 😃
After the surgeon looked at his left eye to check the cataract op had gone ok, he then looked at the right eye to see if it was ok for surgery in the next few weeks. He asked Home if he’d ever had laser treatment because the cornea (I think) was damaged in two places. He doesn’t know why or how it has happened, and why nobody has picked it up before. He filled in consent forms for the laser treatment and the next cataract op, which should be done in the next few weeks. Not too soon I hope because we are due to pick up a new caravan in the middle of April, and I have never towed before. Hope your recovery goes well, and the next op is a success.
