Resistant to some Antibiotics

St. Thomas gave me Co-Amoxiclav for the pneumonia I have and I finished the course. Thought I was better, but woke up with temperature again and feeling ill. I got minicab to hospital and after observations waited hours to be seen by a doctor who took me in to a room and asked me what I wanted or expected from them, because my obs. were better than the time I was admitted. I said I was still ill and I knew the infection hadn't cleared up, but I did say give me Clarithamyacin and that will clear it up or else it will start all over again. The doctor was quite adamant that once they had cultured my blood last time it showed it was sensitive to Co-Amoxiclav and Doxycycline and should have cleared it up. I said I've had these antibiotics lots of times and its obvious my body had built up a resistance to them. She went away and came to say they were thinking of keeping me in to give me IV antibiotics, which I agreed to. She then came back and said another doctor wanted to see me and this doctor was saying that she thinks I have flu, because there were for flu viruses this year some of the surgery got the wrong one and the one she is talking about keeps coming back. Nothing about what the lab found in my sputum, which was pneumonia viruses. So they took samples from my nose and mouth. I came home with F feeling really unwell and hardly slept, I felt so ill and when I got u this morning the sweat was running through my hair and down my face. What do I do Levofloxacin. What to do, go to another hospital as my pleas have fallen on death ears?

Gave up hospital. Called doctor in. She confirmed that I still have a temperature and lung infection. Said carry on with Lenfloxacin and if you see no improvement she will give me Clarithamyacin to see if that will help. At the moment I'm clammy the sweat is in my hair on my face. still taking paracetamol. I will give it until tomorrow and I will ring doctor again. I'm getting worried now. These doctor at the hospital are all so young and they take things as gospel and wont budge from the book. Experience counts for everything
