Episode of breathless as left me really struggling! When oxy levels usually dip to this time been 70 ‘s but then told they comeback up not to worry ! The fact is they take oxy levels at sitting so I feel this is not the true picture of situation? I’d read 92 is to low ? Constantly tired if I try take deep breath it starts off a coughing attack hard to breath in and exhausting. I wish I could get straight answers

See your specialist asap and request a 6 Minute Walk test. If you are dropping to 88 or lower oxygen level with exertion, you likely need oxygen with any exertion.Kind Regards, judg69

92% is ok for a resting level, Greatbanks, but anything below 88% on exertion is dangerous for your internal organs. Some respiratory practitioners would say below 90% is too low. If you are confused you can call the BLF helpline (03000 030 555 office hours) and ask them to explain it all. And judg69 is right that you should ask for a six minute walk test to establish whether and how much oxygen you need prescribing.
