Afternoon all, I really need some advice. I’ve been a bit off it for a while , breathless, no energy and feeling very tired. I used my oximeter to measure my oxygen and heart rate, the oxygen reading was very low, started at 73 and climbed to 79
While I was sitting with it on. Heart rate was between 58 and 71. Should I be concerned and is any action needed? I’m just sitting doing nothing but the minute I move my breathing gets bad and I’m struggling, which is a bit scary. I’ve had 3 or 4 hospital admissions this year and really don’t want another one. X

You should be phoning 999 I’m afraid with those numbers. At the very least they will check with their oximeter. There is a slim possibility that issues are due to faulty oximeter BUT coupled with breathing being bad and not feeling very well that is doubtful. Please call 999 without hesitation and let us know how you get on.
You really do need to get to the hospital your sat are to low especially your oxygen. Please let us know how you get on. Have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻 o
Hi Celat06, you posted 4 hours ago so I hope by now you've reached out for help. At the very least dial 111 - although I'm sure they'll tell you to call 999. Thinking of you and really hope you're safe and being looked after ×××
Fo over 3 years, my Daily O2Sat = 79% and the night O2Sat = 73%.. I was hospitalised on Easter 2021 for 53 days where I had Breathing Readaptation as physical one too.
And my Chest Doctor was satisfied since I have Central Apnea.
If you are not yet getting help please call 999 and let them check you out before deciding on a hospital visit. I don’t know the reason for your previous hospitalisation but what you describe is certainly worth investigating. I do hope that is in progress.
If my levels fall that low and I am experiencing difficulty breathing if I walk, also legs swelling, no appetite..I know its my Congestive heart failure. To the Hospital I go!
Hope that you have spoken to a doctor, CELAT06. Members on here speak from experience, and it is wise to get it checked out. Do let us know how you get on. Have you got someone to be with you? It can be scary when your breathing isn't great. No one likes going to hospital, but sometimes it is the best place. Sending all good wishes your way. xx
