Hi I would firstly phone the Overseas Health team on 0191-2181999 and if they do not have the right answers then Dept of Health Customer Services on 02072104850 you can also go to healthcareinspain.eu and read what they say. I have booked oxygen for various areas in Spain and you should be able to book all you need from here for free against your EICC card. Best of luck

Hi I go to another part of Spain but what you need to do is if possible contact the local hospital there and if no one speaks English contact the embassy or consulate and they will translate for you tell them your Oxygen needs there are different companies that supply the oxygen but the hospital will talk to them, you need to have an up to date E1-11 card then a copy of your full prescription and tell them where you are staying and the date you arrive and ask them to deliver the oxygen the day before especially if you arrive at the weekend it’s fairly ok once you have the translator if I can be of anymore help let me know.

By the way don’t forget to have a letter from your doctor letting the airline know you are fit to travel it has to be up to date

What type of a mobile concentrater do you have for flying you must have enough battery time to cover your flight and allow for maybe a delay

Sorry for all the to does but it’s better you know

Good Luck
