Hi
As a lung sufferer I don’t like the sound of that..make an urgent appointment or go to A&E and get an xray..
Take good care xx
Thankyou like say doc said chest sounds clear at minute but this pain awfull and had few times now they said was clear before went back few days after and they said infection on left side this was only in October had for six weeks ended up on steroids with it but now it's back I feel drained
I bet you are feeling poorly and exhausted..When there is a stabbing persistent pain around the shoulder blade it is an alert for me. If you are not getting concrete help from your GP, go to A&E..x
Thankyou think will get checked out again I can normally deal with pain but this is awfull
They have given me steroid inhalers as think I could have asthma but won't diagnose me yet but something has to be going on to get pain like this
You know your own body...I wouldn’t wait..x
Any chest pain should be viewed as a potential emergency. A visit to A&E is needed, where they have the proper equipment to perform the necessary tests needed to diagnose any potential issues.
The problem with steroids is that they can mask the symptoms of an infection. I agree with the others that those symptoms are very indicative of an infection or pleurisy. I think a trip to A&E is on the cards.
True about steroids, I think so too..they ease my days like pain killers do but then I end up with some full blown infection because my body reacts anyway..
Thanks littlepom 😊
Thankyou all for advice think going get it checked can't deal with the pain
Sounds similar to when I had Pleurisy, get an x Ray and blood test. GP can't tell just be having a listen.
Thankyou will try get it sorted doctors are daft at times
Have a look into costochontritis very painfull but doctors ignore it hope you feel better soon...alan
