Welcome Alisoll you are doing the very best you can for your sister and l truly hope the medical profession can help with a diagnosis. It’s not easy and l do feel for you. Take care xxxxx
Hi Alisoll and welcome. Have your sister’s admissions all been as emergency due to the pneumonias? Does she have a respiratory consultant other than the doctors whom she saw in hospital. If not, you need to get your GP to refer her to a good respiratory specialist who can do the tests to diagnose what is happening in her lungs and then she can be under their ongoing care and treatment. Whoever has been treating her for this so far and the treatment that she has been having have not been effective and this needs more serious consideration. Good luck.
Thank you for your kind words yes I am pushing for her I got so upsethat I asked the doctors have you given up on my sister .our gp thinks she has had eumonia for 12 months so I hope now we going to get to the bottom of this.
It must be very hard for you. Worrying about and caring for your sister whilst taking on the medical establishment. Unfortunately wiyh lung conditions we have to be very pro active and viciferous in getting what we want. Your GP should have sent her to be investigated months ago. Don't take no for an answer. We all know what it is like and we are here to support you.
