Im going for the new flu vac today, the one I can have while on steroids, so we’ll see. Then Thursday I have full blood work checking for some other autoimmune diseases as well..And my immunoglobulins because I seem to have a “light problem with immunodeficiency”.. rhumatoid factors as well, positive last time, no surprise there I could hardly walk before I got steroids..Anyway having LAM is a piece of work! So 🤞🤞🤞

Great! 🌸🌷🌺 Flu vac was ok but I managed to lose a shopping bag with Dad’s mail his sweets and biscuits on my way to the Home. I phoned the surgery, went to the chemist’s it’s gone! Poor Dad was more worried about his goodies than his post! I will have to go back to see him on Thursday.

I tell you they have checked so many..I am being retested for Sjorgren and I have rhumatoid factors so they want to check that too. It is not like they have a cure so I wish I didn’t know. I have my fair share with LAM and since adrenal insufficiency..
You do indeed have your fair share!! I started with Lupus then along came sjrogrens, raynaunds, severe asthma a bit of scleroderma and adrenal insufficiency. But sure we'll keep battling on and try to keep smiling.
Omg..you too have a lot to cope with..how do you cope with the steroids..I am cutting down salt as it was suggested but it’s not really working
I really struggle just to stay the weight I already am, which is overweight, but I cannot lose a single lb, it's really disheartening. I go swimming twice a week and got myself a Fitbit which really does encourage me to get as many steps as possible each day. I eat well and have cut down massively on sugar but still no weight loss. It's so frustrating but at least I'm aware of it and I'm not getting bigger and bigger. That's the best I can do for now!
Ok same here I put on 4 lbs in a month on steroids, I never put on weight. The hospital dietician said it is water retention from the steroids. Anyway I got special tea from the pharmacy yesterday at her suggestion I’ll see if that helps.
My diet is already hard going because I have to lower my cholesterol and I am intolerant to lactose, which I didn’t know, Im not allowed soya because of oestrogen and LAM. I have to buy lactosefree products. She has added protein and I have to cut out fat sugar and no carbohydrates at night. I thought great.
