just thought i'd let you know i collected bob's ashes today and for some unknown reason i feel peaceful. probably more accepting of the situation.so thats him tucked away ready to go on the adventure with his mammy when it's her turn

I'm pleased to hear you feel the way you do. It really is just the next step. I got my mum stashed on top of kitchen cupboard and say hello to her everyday......:)

preshous, better clear up, bob's was my beloved cat, a different kind of love. however the acceptance is healing and knowing that he is back home is nice...

thank you. like where your mum rests, my husbands ashes got milaid when i moved house .Thought I had lost them found them about 3 years later in thr garage, it's okay, i knew he would be laughing' as I put on his stone,,,safe in my heart.

hahaha thats so cool . But to some people a pet is every bit a family member as any human could be. wow that made my day thank you nellie....:)

You can't measure love by the number of legs the recipient has.

I love it that Mum is 'stashed' on top of the kitchen cupboard too. All the better to see everything that goes on.

Hello nellie :) I'm glad you are feeling at peace with the situation, and I'm sure you are experiencing some lovely memories of Bobs. My little Yorkshire Terror (!) Charlie will be keeping Bobs company, he loved cats :)

gosh elian, i had a wire haired terrier called charlie. afraid long gone, he was a cheeky boy. what a loss, i loved all my pets dearly and always, circumstances allowing , i thanked them
