New treatment.

I have just been prescribed a new treatment from hospital clinic called incruse Ellipta, been having problems with wheezing tight chest and a lot of mucus. Just wondered if anyone has had this treatment and if it helped. Feeling a bit nervous using it with all the other medication I take. Majt.

Hi Majt,

I have emphysema and am 66 years young.

Have been on it for 9 months since pneumonia and week in hospital at beginning of February.

I found it noticeably better than my previous meds and it hasn't caused me any problems so far.

When first taking it I had a hoarse voice for a couple of weeks, the grandchildren thought this was hilarious, then voice returned to normal, everything fine since.

Give it a month or two to get used to it and then decide for yourself, hope this is of help to you.

I have just been put on incruse ellipta and relvar ellipta and find them easier to take and don't seem to be causing me any problems so far.

better known as aclidinium bromide I have been on this the last 3-4 years with great success hope it works well with you. Just do not forget to rinse and gargle after use to keep the thrush away.

I'm using Incruse too and I think it helps. No side effects with me.
