Pulmarory rehab : Start my Rehab this... - Lung Conditions C...
Pulmarory rehab
Have no worries, it is not a brutal gym atmosphere and the exercises are gentle, you only do what you are capable of doing.
Good luck Tidge and hope you feel better soon. Enjoy PR. Xxxxx
I have been lucky enough to have done 3 PR courses. Not only does it help 'push' you towards healthy (but gentle) exercise, but it is important from a social point of view. I have asthma and bronchiectasis, husband has COPD and we are indeed fortunate in Berkshire as there is so much help with lung disease. Not only PR, but we now belong to a "Singing for Lung Health" group which really is excellent and lots of fun. Belonged to one before but it really was just 'singing'. The new one (Bracknell and Maidenhead) is fantastic, lots of exercises, different songs and (to my surprise) we even SOUND good!!
Our teacher is young, well trained in lung health, enthusiastic and inspiring - push for it in your area.
I hope it goes well for you Tidge and that you enjoy it. Please let me know how you got on hun xxx
Just take it in your stride Tidge and have a lovely weekend. xx 🍰☕
Keep at it best as you can do .it will help in the long run and you learn so many things along the way. It will all be worth it for your wellbeing
Hi Tidge I start my pulmonary rehab in June - I am very interested to know how you are getting on with yours. I've heard such good reports about it.
Cheers
Lynne
Oh Tidge, I bet you were disappointed. Yes, let me know. Hope they start you next week.
