When you get your annual flu shot, it is very important that you check and ensure that you have had your 2 lifetime pneumonia shots. These can be a lifesaver. Best Regards, judg69

Is it standard to offer them at 'flu clinics'?

My first flu jab was last year.

I have to get pneumonia shots every 5 years

I thought the pneumonia jab was once in a lifetime

In the US, the standard is 2 pneumonia shots in your adult lifetime, and I believe they need to be at least 5 years apart. It is possible some individuals may need additional shots as nfanning indicated. Recommend that all of us with breathing issues pursue with their GP or Pulmonologist in order to get the pneumonia shot. Kind Regards, judg69

Haven't had the flu , last flu shot was 49 years ago in the service. I personally dont trust flu shots.

Have had pneumonia shots and am fine. Except COPD and ASTHMA that's another story.
