Hi
Going of your previous post, I would think further investigation is required as to what is actually going on with your kidney.
The reason I mention it, is my daughter had to have kidney removed which started with a infection. Which according to my daughter not that big a deal.
What is your doctor saying? Uti's and kidney infections can become very serious just as Stone UK mentioned; serious enough to need a kidney removed. A kidney is a major organ and is a very serious operation. One excellent antibiotic is "Keflex" but it would seem to me that your "Nephrologist" which is a kidney specialist would require further testing. I can't imagine having recurrent infections without clearing it up completely and finding out the source. Good luck and keep us posted.
