Hi all, I've just received a txt from GP surgery re flu jab walk in clinics so thought I'd remind everyone to aim to have jab before 11am for maximum efficacy.
The earlier the better I'd say!

Hi,
Is it not a bit early in the year for the flu jab? I was planning on having it in the beginning of sept.
Thanks,
Sinclair
Don't get mine until October
I have seen this before, but my surgery has a walk in clinic for flu jabs between 12.00-3.00 from mid September, maybe they have not seen this.
Is that 11.oo am today,as i have only just read this and its 13.45 do i have to wait until next year now.i am doomed!thanks for the reminder anyway...xx
My GP surgery are starting jabs in September so this was just a timely reminder to us all for when we go, whenever that is.
I just go to the clinics at our surgery and join the queue as though it may appear long, you ne'er wait long, they thankfully have it down to a fine art BUT I will go early to ensure I hit the jab 'station' before 11am.
If you have to make appt, get an early one and if your practice don't do early jabs, ask them why not when it's been proven to be an optimum time!!
Why before 11?
