How long does it take to set up someone on O2 been waiting three weeks know and starting to get depressed again not heard anything

Good afternoon Margie When I was discharged from hospital and told I would be on oxygen. We where home about 20 minutes and the oxygen arrived I don't understand why they have left you without oxygen when you need it .Have you telephoned the person who prescribed it hope you get it sorted quickly if you are struggling phone your GP or 111. The consultant said I was to go on it I'm really struggling with it and my diabetes

Depending on equipment should be no more than three working days.

Mine came day after.

Contact the respitory nurse who is responsible for your HOOF, home oxygen order form.

It should not take this long. Maybe a letter has gone missing? I think you should chase it up.
