Hi I wanting to know and hoping someone here can help me,

I had a low dose ct scan done as a precaution for cancer, it came back and said mild empasima. my doctor said probably nothing quit smoking and dont worry about. I have read that low dose can give false negatives is this true and what do you feel i should do

Thank you .. can I ask your advice on what you would do if you were in my position .. I am confused and worried I have trusted my doc for years although not shure if i should just ignore the Ct

Sorry, I can't advise on this. You need to go back to your doctor with any queries.

If there was any doubt about the results then you would have been sent for more Scans etc so for now be happy it is good news

Just stop smoking, you are very lucky indeed to have been diagnosed very early. Many aren't until it's to late to make changes.

Life is long, make it of the best quality you possibly can while you still have choices.
