feeling the cold
I'm old and I have copd so I'm not sure, but I do feel the cold a lot more. Both 'conditions' tend to slow us down though so maybe it's a double whammy - making us colder than just 'being old', or - just being 'ill'. Not nice, is it.
I think it maybe that we are not on the move so much has before x
I feel the cold a lot more than I used to. I put it down to my temperature clock going haywire after the change of life. I can go very hot quickly and very cold. I think also illness and old age certainly doesn't help. Old age is sure not for sissies
Hi I go from freezing cold to Boiling hot in a Blink of the eyelid Take care
I'll put my tin hat on now.
I much prefer it on the cooler side than the warmer side, as long as it's above 5°C I'm fine, it is easier to breathe and a lot easier to exercise or go walking. Over 18°C and I start to suffer, especially when there is high humidity, once you've peeled your clothes off your stuck with feeling hot.
My workshop is 60 foot high, in the winter any heat rises and it just disappears, lots of layers of clothing work just fine for me. Mind, down here on the south coast it hardly gets really cold and ice days are like hen's teeth.
I wish I would be cold but I am always hot, I sit with a fan on most of the time! I am at stage 3 and can not stand to be warm, it makes my breathing worse. I drive my husband crazy!
