I think you're right! You're lucky to have caught him sitting still, I once tried getting a shot of a dragonfly - it was impossible. It wouldn't settle anywhere, kept darting around, backwards and forwards all over the place. I gave up and just enjoyed watching it instead - such lovely colours.
