I was diagnosed with COPD in 2000, having given up the weeds I am still able to function, the one thing that is nasty is I get bronchiospasms and end up with sats below 70 heart rate 210 and can be clinging to the sink or my car for over an hour waiting for my breathing to settle down, this is not pleasant. Does anyone else suffer from this and how do you deal with it. Thanks Don.

Breathing
Hi
You need further investigation by your GP, to find the cause and treatment.
Little bit of reading to give you a heads up. You may already know some of the answers.
Welcome to the forum Don.
There well may be a trigger for your bronchospasm. As Mr Stone correctly states this needs to be investigated for cause. It may help if you keep a diary noting time of spasm, what you were doing and what you had contact with at the time. There may because substance that can be identified.
Hi Ya Don,
I have the same problem to, after a shower I am gasping for breath, and have to sit down till my breathing settles down, I don't know what is causing this my Co does drop to about 85 and heart rate 124, then it settles down to about Co92 and 75bpm. I cannot walk no more then a few feet without getting breathless, they want me to do a 6 min walk test, I said I cannot walk for 6mins so they sent me home. I am on spiriva respimat and the blue inhaler.
I have been trying Colidal Silver which is on Amazon, and am finding helpful, I put a teaspoon full in my electric nebulizer and breath this in through my nose, and after it I can walk a few yards and not run out of breath, the Colidal Silver is the most powerfull antibotic thier is and it has been used for hundreds of years before any antibotics where found, I will keep useing it untill I become worth a lot of money, being a large lump of silver.
Try it and see for yourself..........google it and let me know
