Here is a list of most available inhalers:-

I have never heard of 'glycomium bromide',

perhaps you meant 'Ipratropium' or 'aclidinium'?

Hi Pete. Useful information but the link is not really current as it is dated as 2013. I wonder if there is a more up to date one?

Yes, your inhaler "Incruse" was launched in October 2014

I just can't find anything like 'glycomium bromide'.

Most latest lists are American with many different names from the British version.

Best wishes, Pete

carolg1 For clarity, you want to find an alternative to glycopyrronium bromide which is in Seebri or Ultibro Breezhaler or the like, and you may want to avoid Tiotropium (Spiriva for example).

What inhaler were you on before Ultibro? Was it effective? Could you not go back to that?

Why avoid Tiotropium? I'm aware that soulsaver had problems with it but it doesn't follow that others necessarily will have the same problems.

I certainly don't and I have a history of gut issues going back 30 yrs, well before my lungs decided to become diseased. I happily use Spiriva Respimat and it makes a big difference to me, I didn't like the Braltus device and capsules, a cheaper version of Spiriva handihaler, but the handihaler was ok.

I had the same problems with both Spiriva & glycopyrronium bromide, Seebri .

Carol symptoms (in another post) may or may not be caused or worsened by her Ultibro inhaler. But if it is, it's just well to be aware that they're also a side effect of tiotropium and MAY be best to try something else in light of such evidence.

I didn't like Spiriva. It didn't seem right to puff powder into my lungs. I have a feeling Spiriva was created because Atrovent and the other orange coloured inhaler, create CFC's and that's why the doctors are trying to get us off them.

Hi soulsaver for a few years I was on symbicort and spirits, then following a hiccup in hospital due to infection I've had seebri, then relearn but relearn but that was only for a month as I complained my breathing was quite poor wheezing etc they then put me on ultibro but none seem to help much tbh when I was on symbicort first off it was quite good but. After a few years it didn't seem to work as well, I also take uniphyllin taken it for a few years , we tried to come off that but my wheezing got really bad xx carol

Hi carolg1, I have heard of alclinidinium bromide and it landed me in hospital as I took an allergic reaction to in just one day. I can't tell you anymore about it. Wish you all the best.
