Right now

I'm sat at the back of my patio looking across to turkey and normally can see the mountains but due to the intense heat there's a mist coming up from the sea .

Crazy hot today even the water coming out of the cold tap is very warm regardless to running it for ages

That is always a concern everything is so dry and one major fire hazard . only takes one cigarette butt or broken glass and whoosh

I have been surprised, over the years, that so few people know that glass, when in the right position, can cause a fire. I was taught this at school, as a way of starting a fire, should I get stuck, with no way to cook my sausages!!!

There's s saying in West Cumberland where my father's family used to farm: If you can see the Isle of Man across the Irish Sea, it's going to rain. If you can't see the Isle of Man, it's raining.Definitely not true for the mountains of Turkey from Rhodes.

Because of the intense heat it's causing like a heat haze between the sea and mountains
