Many a slip...

I was hoping to be able to write and say I had had the cardioversion and that everything was back to normal! It isn't so. I had my INR levels checked yesterday (blood clotting levels on warfarin) and they were 1.8 so I had to ring the hospital because the levels have to be 2-4 . The doctor decided that it was too low, so he couldn't risk it, so provided that it stays between 2 and 4 I am now booked for May 30th. I have another INR check on Friday, and the following Friday so I am eating green vegetables like a rabbit to make sure it comes up as required, but not too much. I feel quite depressed about it as I can do even less than normal, and I seem to spend most of the time resting, with hardly any energy at all. Grrrrr.......

Oh dear Carnival, that's not good is it petal? I'm sure that your rabbit routine will work tho, so chin up, it's annoying but a glitch, you will be good to go by 30th.

Commiserations xxxxx

Thank you, I'm not that keen on rabbit food but broccoli at lunchtime and treated myself to asparagus this evening which I do like!

So sorry. How maddening. And awful about the general weakness.

Love and hugs

Very infuriating, and of course I had got myself all worked up for it. Still, my brother is arriving tomorrow and the Flying Scotsman is coming through on Friday so he will be happy - train mad!

My brother and I get on really well, but his first love is undoubtedly trains and everything associated with them. Steam engines of course, preferably GWR but anything will do. I hope you are making good progress. xx

One of my grandsons loves the old steam engines - he's been a volunteer on the seven valley railway from the age of fourteen - and would have started sooner if they'd let him.
