Thank goodness for my hearing aids,
How wonderful they are.
They let me know what’s going on,
Whether near or far.
They have three separate settings
For the places I might be.
One is just a general one
To hear what you can see.
Two is more specific
Useful in the pub.
You hear what someone says to you,
But cuts out all the hub.
Three is for the system
Which they call the loop
They have that in some concert halls
When you hear your favourite group.
Sometimes my favourite setting
Especially when I cough,
Is the button on the bottom.
Which switch the darn things off!
