Writer's Block.

It's said most writers can with ease,

Write something which they think may please.

But that is really poppycock,

Because of dreaded 'writer's block'.

This is when they've nowt to say,

Which means they're going to get no pay.

But Charles Bukowski had it right.

When you come across this plight.

I'll tell you what, but do not mock

Just write about your 'writer's block'!

(Don't Google Charles Bukowski if easily offended :-o)

I think the writer's block is good for you Don because, this is IMO, your best poem yet. It all scans and rhymes perfectly and you've paced it just right.
