Infection or not : Hi well as you may... - Lung Conditions C...
Infection or not
I sometimes get old mucus coming up after the infection has cleared. If it looks dark green and solid rather than fizzy and fresh (I know!) it might be that. Do you not have an out of hours contact T2d? If you're at all worried about fresh infection please do call 111. Hope the stair lift stops playing up and starts behaving itself. Take care
Thanks Jean hopefully that is what it is I have contact number for matron but only Monday to Friday and as I was in hospital I was taking of her books I am now back on them but no visits until 12/5when she is back from leave .I have told the stair lift to behave its self last thing I need is to be suspended half way up stairs with all the paraphnalia I seem to accumulate ambultory oxygen tablets fan iPad etc etc x
Stairlift sometimes beep when you have stopped it just before you have locked into the end point or if your finger has slipped on the button that makes it go. Terrified me when it first happened but you need a surprising amount of finger and hand strength to keep it going. In my opinion a design fault, but presumably a safety feature. I hope you are feeling a bit better xx
The stairlift hadn't been used since went to bed last night Unfortunatley still got pain and sweating 30 minutes to my next Meds Frank has just been to the chemist to pick up my repeat Meds and they not there and doctors closed Monday ever had the feeling somebody got it in for you hope you have had a decent day xx
It still may not be quite connected as the bleep is probably because it isn't charging properly. If in doubt call your supplier. Try switching it off and on again. I must admit although it was useful it often frightened the life out of me and I'm glad we are now in a bungalow! O for the days when I could go where I wanted without worrying about steps slopes and carrying things! I do so feel for you, but hope things improve with the help you are finally getting. I am still in atrial fibrillation and feel exhausted most of the time, so fed up as it makes my breathing worse and anything is such an effort. I am on the list for the cardioversion but don't know when I will hear, asked the consultant's secretary but she couldn't help. Before we moved here I just used to turn up at A&E, they would admit me, do the cardioversion and then send me home. Mind you, they knew me well! Probably Southmead will be the same the way things are going.
All the best xxx
Sorry you are unwell and I hope you get things sorted very soon it is a real struggle feeling so exhausted isn't it and I must admit latley I have been wishing I could just go to sleep and well I won't say the rest but that is the way I am feeling .Frank has checked the chair and it is showing fully charged I also am a little scared of it and like you long for what used to be .Frank phoned 111 at 6 o'clock because I be been bringing thick green mucus up today and with only coming out of hospital last Sunday and having to have IV abs he is concerned also my pain reached a crescendo practically screaming with it. I wasn't due to take Meds till 8.30 but have had to take them 1.30 earlier going back to phoning 111 they told me a doctor would phone me back to let me know what to do that was nearly 4 hours ago .I hope you do get seen sooner rather than later best wishes Margaret x
