Nasal Congestion

Just asking if any suffers from Nasal Congestion and find it hard to clear. What remedies do you use or recommend ?

Sterimar is quite could. You can get it from the chemist, it is sterilised sea water that you sniff up your nose.

Yes, Sterimar is good. They make numerous products now and the one you want has got "Congestion Relief" written on the front. It's about £7 or £8 from chemists.

Friar's Balsam is good, you put in a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam. Cheap too.

Olbas or Vicks in boiling water work for me

Olbas on your pillow helps.

Didn't find the salt washes helped but started on antihistamines (quite cheap in supermarkets) and definitely improved.

Hi CarlB. I have suffered nasal congestion for years, but following a cold and bunged up nose I remembered what my Mum suggested years ago OLBAS OIL. A few drops on your handkie or tissue and breath deeply - wow - I could breath after a little while.
