2 tablets of prednisone to take after 3 weeks tapering and starting with a sore throat,tight chest and looks like beginning of a cold, going around like wild fire in work, hopefully I can get rid of it quickly

Hope this doesnt last long Lyngal. I'd advise checking out your Vitamin D3 levels - they are often low with people with lung disease. Your GP can do a blood test. Taking Vit D3 seems to help people with their immune system.
