Travel Insurance

I am looking for travel insurance as soon to be going to the Caribbean, I have stage 1 COPD and have been getting some seriously ridiculously priced quotes. Has anyone got any tips for providers of travel insurance for those with existing health conditions?

Tracy offcutt has had a lot of experience with travel insurance I used Tesco it might also be worth doing compare the market hope this helps

The only company that would cover my husband to visit our son in America was Avanti. Mike had a very rare Lung condition - Idiopathic Pulmonary Haemosiderosis - also an Under active Thyroid & a history of Kidney stones.

We use All Clear, who are good because they have medical personnel on the staff. Have never claimed though and with my weird and unusual conditions it is expensive. I should think going to the Caribbean with pre-existing conditions could make it expensive anyway. If you find anything reasonably priced I'd love to know. Hope you find something and enjoy your break. All the best.

2 years ago we visited the Caribbean and the only insurance company (including the likes of stay-sure and Saga who declined me) was Allclear so give them a try.
