Thanks for that Juliekay, anything that helps with costs is most useful. Many of us with COPD try to go on holiday while we are still able so to say but insurance boosts shoot up with most illnesses that require drugs and can make travel prohibitive.

I've just joined although we have bought our insurance for our two weeks in France shortly already from Holiday Extras which I thought did us a good deal - £86 for both covering both of our pre-existing conditions. I am thinking of taking hubby on a surprise 70th birthday/40th wedding anniversary cruise so it will be interesting to see what quotes they give. Thank you for posting the info.

Age UK travel insurance is OK for COPD if you are on 4 or less meds, I got a multi trip for a year for a couple for £ 170 ish

Their track record on dealing with claims is more important than a cheap premium. Try to find somebody who has experience with a claim if you can.
