Sharp stabbing pains bottom of ribs ? First ribs above diaphragm?
You could have a lower airway infection.
See your doctor so can check for weeze and crackles and could just be muscular if coughing alot but best get checked...lots of love glynis

As GLynis says get it checked out. Lower lung infections, particularly if you have been coughing a lot can cause pains around the ribs. I used to get it a lot; maybe you need some more ab's. X
