I have just got back from the doctors. I’ve been diagnosed with my first chest infection of the cold season, doctor says it’s pleurisy. It’s in both lungs, but my left side is more painful.
I’m a bit annoyed as my 5th session of PR is due tomorrow but I will obviously have to cancel. I don’t want to risk giving anything to the other patients, or make myself feel even more ill.
Has anyone suffered with rosacea? I’ve been given this diagnosis today as well. My doctor thinks it might be because of stress?
I’m finding more and more that I only come here to moan - sorry guys and girls! 😳

Don't think about it! It helps to unburden ourselves. If you feel up to it go for a short walk and take in the Autumn colours. If you feel too unwell relax and tomorrow is another day. Thinking of you and hope you get well soon.
You’re not moaning Brian. Life can be rubbish at times. Sorry to hear you have pleurisy and sending lots of love and good wishes for a speedy recovery.
You’re not moaning! I’m sorry to know you’re not well, especially as it means you’ll miss your PR session. Will you be able to make up your missed class later? I hope you start to feel better soon 🤞
Hi, I did the same at PR, really hurt my back. I only weigh 7 st 8, and they kept on encouraging more and more weights, which were too much for my body. I was heaving as much as big 15 stone men! If I ever go again, I will be careful to listen to my body.
Sorry to hear you have an infection plus rosacea I was diagnosed with this 12month ago I got it down the side of and under my nose and below my bottom lip they treated me for 6 months kept coming and going in the end I saw someone else they said it wasn't that it turns out it was a form of dermatitis I use emollient cream and when it gets sore I find the best thing is for me is Hydrocortisone cream from the chemist everything else just hasn't worked
