Broke hip falling on hospital grounds and spent 4weeks treated with surgery and antibiotics and other treatments for pneumonia. Hospital were fantastic due to the COPD and kept on oxy. Been transferred to NHS resettlement centre to build me back up to get me fit for

Shame you won't be home for Xmas,but hopefully they put on a good one,at the centre.

Poor you, Joyce. That's rotten luck but good that you were well looked-after. You sound cheerful despite it all and I hope you have a happy Christmas in the centre and make some new friends while you're there. Then home!
So sorry to here of your fall Joyce74, that is going to take you a while to get mobile again . But I am sure you will get there given time, hope you get pampered over Christmas and no matter what, take care one slow step at a time not two quick steps then four days in bed. The Pneumonia wont have been good for your COPD so take things steady . Every best wish for you to be home in the new year xxxxx
Thank you Katie. I am planning to going home t downstairs living for a while. Family looking for a new single bed with possible home date around mid January. I am being well cared for . All the best to you for xmas
