Rain, glorious rain!

The heat has finally gone. Washed away by last night's storm. And instead of hot sticky weather, today the rain continues. From 27 degrees down to 16. That's quite a drop.

Without wishing to jinx it, I might even venture to say.....summer is FINALLY over, and autumn is here at last!! Woohoo.

Whoever went and did that rain dance, thank you! This, this is just what we need.

I'm happier to be soaked, than baked πŸ˜‚

Storm? What Storm? Love your photograph!

We just had lovely rain in the early hours, blown here on the back of a North westerly.

Temperature has dropped here considerably thank goodness - it was the humidity as much as anything that was distressing. We lung folk will be a lot happier today.

We might have a long wait for an Indian Summer - for it will have to be frosty first, but we'll worry about that later.

:-)

Same sassy. Just read about a train derailment at Watford thanks to the flooding 😒 Thankfully no-one was seriously hurt though the report said.

I'm pleased to be feeling cooler too, been waiting for this. I think Thor was upset last night. Lots of thunderstorms. xx

Morning, we had no storms or rain here on west coast of Scotland. πŸŒ©β›ˆπŸ’¨

Then again we never had your baking heat either! 🌞 πŸ˜‚

A beautiful day here 🌞

Take care all πŸ’

Oh!! You've made me jealous now! West coast of Scotland - I need to win the lottery and move! I don't mind the heat/cold (or even the midges) can I come to stay (forever) please?

πŸ˜‚ you're very welcome to come live in Scotland! But we do have changeable weather just like the rest of πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

I live on the coast, beside the beach & I adore where I live so I'm probably biased! πŸ˜‚

I have to say, the midges don't bother me in the least, although for others they're a real pest! 😳

Hope you're well & if you've got rain β˜”οΈ I hope it clears up soon πŸ‘
