More rain.

They promised us a sunny day

So Midge and I went out to play

But then appeared this big black cloud

I said " Push off, you're not allowed"

But cloud he took no heed at all

And soon the rain began to fall

Those forecasters are never right

However do they sleep at night

*Actually the forecasts are usually very accurate theses days. Sorry forecasters I was just playing about with words.

Good morning Mr.D although I feel you are being too generous to our "weather forecasters"!! I did some of the installation of highest grade computer systems at the Met Office in Bracknell many,many years ago,but at the time these hi tech computers,and they had many just to start off,cost a FORTUNE, so I always feel they should be able to get up to date weather info etc. I accept that being an island surrounded by several seas,that it can be unpredictable at times. The jet stream seems to have a mind of its own and climate change I suppose makes forecasting harder. I still say, you or I could give a not too bad forecast, with no computers,sensors etc,just lick your finger,hold it up in the air,use eyes to look at the sky and Bobs your uncle eh? Simple,lol !!!

The Met Office app on my phone does a pretty good job on the whole with the hourly forecasts. But every now and then I get rained upon whilst looking at the bright sun symbol on my phone. 🙄

It's nothing like summer and it's going to be sh**e

Mind you the ladies who do the forecast are really quite pretty

So it kind of compensates when the weather is sh***Y
