Hi everyone.

Can't find any recent posts about ILD (NSIP). The last was about 3 -4 years ago. I was feeling pretty low last week, but have picked myself this week. The thing is to have positive thoughts !

Hair and nails done, just need my hubby to take me somewhere nice. Hope you are all having a good day.

Take care

Wendy Woo. X

Hi Sheila. I have been diagnosed for nearly a year now. I had sarcoidosis about 25 years ago and I am convinced that this is related to that, although my consultant says she couldn't say ! All she will say that is old scarring and I've had it a long time. Over these last 25 years, I've been backwards and forwards to the Doctor's with various ailments. Always felt as if my body was fighting an infection.

Basically, last year felt really poorly and returned to the GP who informed me my chest X-ray from the previous year showed fibrotic changes, albeit to me as I was told it was normal. He prescribed antibiotics. I was fortunate enough to work in the local hospital where my consultant has clinics. I have known her many years as professional colleague. She thought I was looking poorly, and from then on things moved swiftly, hence my diagnosis of NSIP.

In March I made the decision to retire as I was struggling more and more with fatigue. I try to remain positive about things, but hard to do when feeling like rubbish.

You take care and get the correct diagnosis soon.

Wendy xx
