Ventilation Problems

I am on a Nippy 3 full time, in the warmer weather the air becomes warm and causes me to feel unwell. Can anyone recommend anything I can do to prevent this?

Thanks

I think we have all felt the bad effects of the warmer weather on our breathing but it must be extra difficult for you using the Nippy. Have you tried simply placing a fan nearby? If one is placed to blow over a dish of ice it can be cooling. Sorry I am not of much help.

I bought myself an air conditioner from Argos about 3 years ago, and it is seldom off. My oxygen concentrator gives out so much heat I even use it in winter. My only problem with the Nippy is the very dry mouth I wake up with, sometimes almost feels like my lips are glued together.

do you have, or can you use a humidifier with your nippy. I have one on my bipap, not nippy, and it does help

I honestly don't know but it's a question for my consultant at my next review. I've only just started using the nippy and don't know how it compares to a bipap, but it is very effective and has stopped me retaining CO2.
