Looks like we're a go then. All meet in twenty years. Most of you are in the UK? Always wanted to go there, and France too.

Hi Bwebb just tell us the date, time and place so I can put it in the calendar on my iPad so I don't forget.📱

If anyone wants a coggy on me push-bikes crossbar (first come first served unless you slip me a couple of pints of Guinness), I'll be happy to oblige. If I forget me bike, you can give me a Piggy Back.🚲🐖

Do you know if there are any ♿️🅿️Disabled Push-Bike Parking Bays 🅿️♿️available and can I book one in advance?

Looking forward to meeting all you lovey people.👬👫👭💃🏻👯🚶🏻👭👬👫

Forever Optimistic.

John.

It's a date:-) I am in England.

How about a trial run, where we meet up while still mobile ? Not good on any part of a bike, or scooter and no way would it be lady like give or to accept a piggy back.

How ever I am off to France ( long story ) for a few days in September to brush up on the Cancan. .......oooooooooh la la. ...........maybe you could join me .....? The girls as well.

Jo.

Would I Love to! Maybe if I started to save for the trip today, I just might have enough to meet in 20 years. Been studying French on and off for some years now as I had been in Canada for hunting trips and fell in love with the language. Alas, I've been a working stiff most of my life and can't afford the trip across the water at this point. We'll have to settle for the great conversations we all have here for now. Anyone comes to the US, let me know and I'll try hard to meet up.

Know the feeling about having to wait. It's going to take us 20 years to save to get to Canada to meet up with a newly discovered half brother. Been to Halifax N.S ( where his is ) before I knew about him.......think that's called 'sods law '. Its not so much the cost of the trip .....but the cost of the health insurance.... Back in 2008 we did a tour of the US on Amtrak. it was fantastic. I refuse to fly..... lost all my tail feathers !! . We sailed into NY on NCL via Iceland , Halifax etc then onwards for 3 weeks by train stopping for a night or two in various famous places... When our circle was complete we boarded the QE2 for her last trans Atlantic crossing . It cost a few pennies , but was unforgettable .......My hubby now has one or two conditions which the insurers just love........so for the time being we are sticking to Europe .... nice to dream ......nice talking to you .....

Well it sounds like you had a great time making memories. My wife doesn't like travel so if I go it't usually alone. She flew once to Disney World and had such a bad time with it the she says she'll climb as high as anyone asks her to as long as one foot is still on the ground.

Hope you do get to meet up with family before it's too late. Be well,

B.
