6th day on A.C.V and after 28 years of copd and 20% lung function diagnosed on my last review 2 weeks ago,no review,no medicines. I can now do things without sitting down for 10 mins after 3 mins work. It is incredible that I can do things nearly normally. Have even stopped the silent sort of whistle us copd suffers usually do. When I used to play snooker and golf my nickname was the "whistler". Of course had to pack up the golf as I did most of my pastimes which were all sport based
I know ACV will not benefit all people but it certainly benefits me.
Next week,if I am still benefitting from the ACV I am going to start reducing my Meds and like most things I do I will not consult a Dr,just the internet..
Looking forward to another mornings light work before my siesta this afternoon .
42 degrees today. Nice.
Ciao for now. R.

Think you may be right Bev. I tried it a couple of years ago. Gave me terrible heartburn & did absolutely nothing for mucus. After 5 days I felt so awful, & unable to eat a thing, I abandoned it.
R, take care in reducing meds based on "consulting the internet". Seems a bit risky if your lung function is that low
memanyouwoman if it works for that's great I have heard about it for your well-being an health might try it if it clears the dreaded mucas I'm on muccodyne syrup and it's yuck and I'm putting weight on with it take care R x
I've been taking ACV, raw, unfiltered with mother for months due to being hypothyroid and having low stomach acid, which causes indigestion. Don't get indigestion anymore. I can vouch for it helping with mucus. I never cough or have had much mucus but over the last few weeks have needed to cough to clear my chest. Initially I thought oh no not a chest infection, but no it's always clear. Wondered why it was happening, all of a sudden, and didn't connect the two until Stone mentioned it. Can only be a good thing keeping my chest clear. Thanks for that Stone x
Interesting to read this. How much A.C.V are you taking in a day and do you take anything with it? It may be worth giving it a go as you've obviously benefitted a lot from it. Thanks.
Ive heard ACV is good but I can't get it passed my nose to my lips I start to gag. I remember years ago the vinegar diet couldn't do that either. Vinegar in all forms is supposed to be good for you but YUK the smell and taste I just can't plus the heartburn would kill me. You must have to drink at least 4-8 ounces right
