Just been told I have very mild Emphysema.

Hi everyone, I, have been quiet for a while wondering what was wrong with me as the meds were not helping me. They told me a while back I had moderate COPD, till I fell ill 7 weeks ago with massive swelling of my left ankle and unable to walk. I was sent for a CT Scan and they scanned my ankle and my lungs for blood clot. The consultant there told me ,Good News, no blood clots in lungs, lungs clear, no blood clots in ankle, you have gout in your ankle. The next day I had an appointment with my COPD doctor after another spirometry test, that I had very mild emphysema, borderline on the top of your lungs, just visible and to continue with only SPIRIVA. He told me that I don't have to come back to the clinic anymore. He had read my other medical reports, which stated that the blood supply to my heart had been compromised, hence, my breathing difficulties. Now I am on waiting list for ANGIOPLASTY.

I will keep you all updated of my on going breathlessness.
