Never rains etc etc ,,,after routine blood tests last Monday I now have a further problem with thyroid,,,,,I have another appointment tomorrow,and on Wednesday ,and on Friday ,and consultant on 21st,,,,,, what am I doing wrong to my body ,,,,,,or is just age ,?

Hi I don't think you are doing anything wrong just one of those things been similar for myself get one thing sorted and then another comes along I'm sure we will be on straight and narrow soon 😌 Hope u get sorted lovely picture xx

Hi nanny know just how you must feel I've accumulated a few illnesses over the last 10 years my latest is macular degeneration which is really frustrating. At first I thought it was when my sats were low but optician has referred me to eye hospital so here we go again and I was so happy at the results after having cateracts removed now my glasses are  of no use and little treatment for it. Your thyroid problem will possibly mean another pill. I've had thyroid problems for years,hope they soon sought you out you could feel better for it. Good luck .

Hi imelda, I had my cateracts done 2009 ,,what a shock that was 30 years of wearing glasses all the time ,,,,then no need for them at all ,( but oh the wrinkles ,,,that I hadn't realised I'd got ) haha ,but now I do need to wear them again just for reading ,not knowledgeable about macular degeneration,,,,I'm assuming it's to do with your eyes ,,,,I hope we both start to feel better soon ,,,,,I just needed to rant ,,,,I've got fed up of replying " not very good " when I'm asked how are you ,,,any better etc etc  ?? ,,,,so I'm really trying to be positive ,,,,I'm sure my friends are sick of me ,,,,ive had to cancel so many things since December,,,,,fingers crossed like you say ,,,it will just mean another pill to take ,,,,,,I can cope with that ,,,,,,,take care imelda ,x

Hello Nanny again - what a beautiful photograph of you - I shall be able to picture you now when we speak.  I have a theory that these things happen in clusters, and I don't mean the fruit and nut variety either. ...smile..... You are fortunate that you are in an area where these things can be taken care of without you having to travel to the moon and back. Now the ball is rolling and if there is any problem it will be dealt with sooner rather than later.  Try not to get too worried meantime, and come in for a chat if you are feeling a bit down.

Hi again Jennifer ,your very kind and understanding ,not so sure about the photograph though haha,,,,I always try to think of what my lovely mum used to say ,,," remember God only sends you what he knows YOU can deal with " so I will try to remain positive,and deal with whatever it is ,,,,,and at the end of the day ,,,,I've always said ,,,I'd rather it be me in pain than my girls ,so fingers crossed for a positive outcome ,I'm probably worrying about nothing ,,,it just seemed a lot of appointments ,,,,,,the phone call I had on Friday from the receptionist said ,my doctor said for me rest as much as possible ,so In between appointments thus week I'll put my feet up and watch the tennis ,haha, ,, thanks for taking so much time chatting Jennifer ,,,it's greatly appreciated,much love ,Georgina xx🎾💐💐😀❤️💅🏽🙏🍀🌹🌷🌼🌺🌻💐💊🛌
