Lung function results

Hello everyone, managed to get my results printed, I was told they weren't too bad, what do you think.

A bit alarmed about the lung age of 78.....as I am 63!!!

Looks OK and pretty typical.

I am 83 and my lung age has been over 90 for the last 5 years!

PS It shows you are 62 and 8 months!

Hi I wouldn't worry too much about that. I was given a lung age of 89 when I was 56! I was still only mild though... x

I don't even think what my lung age is when I was 49 my lung age was 98 so they must be due a telegram now lol

Although I move on the moderate to severe spectrum; my lung age is 114. I am now 72 but my lung age has been over a 100 for a few years. I don't know how this is arrived at, I don't know anyone of 114 & if I did, I don't think they would be walking, albeit slowly, 10000 steps a day. I would not worry about it. Love Margaret x

That doesn't look too bad.

When I was diagnosed 6 years ago at the age of 55, I was told I had the lung age of a 99year old🙁

Hi Grasso my consultant says our lungs are designed to last 175yrs, so I don't think you need worry yet! Xx

My lung age is 143, I didn't know that they are designed to last 175 years though. Thanks for that information Sheilab 123. The kids will be upset they were looking forward to spending their inheritance and now they will have to wait a bit longer. LOL

I was told not to worry too much about lung age - the Respiratory Nurse only uses it to persuade smokers to give up smoking.

I have a lung function of 84 and I'm a little over 21 well 53 to be honest
