Lung and pain

Do anyone get really sharp pains in your right lung when you cough and then the pain lasts for quit a long time

Hi David. I get an ache but I think it would be worth mentioning the pain to your doctor. Hopefully it will be something like muscle strain from coughing but it's worth getting it checked out. All the best.

Hi David, could be an infection starting or maybe muscle strain from coughing.

My advice would be for you to phone your GP in the morning & see if you can arrange a check up.

HI David, I used to get this a lot, particularly with an infection. The lung itself can't feel pain , I used to get muscle & slipping rib issues. I would see your Dr; maybe ab's will help. Happy new year. Margaret x

Please go and see your gp, or go to the hospital and have x-rays done,,,,,to rule out pleurisy,,,,a cracked rib,,,,due to the cough,,,,many reasons,,,but you must be checked out urgently,,,,,Karen.
