Back to Qe hospital in the morning to have a third cardiac ablation. Hoping this goes better than the last one. Had to have a drain in then because of a tamponade then was sent home and had another one 2 weeks later.

Good luck and I sure hope this one goes better. Is this for A-Fib?

Thanks. Yes it is for AF. I had ablations in 2013, 2014 and now.Hope this is third time lucky.

So did the other ones initially help and then it returned or they just weren't successful at all?

Ray47 profile image
Ray47 in reply tojackdup

They both lasted for about 9 months. But apparently the success rate for the third one is 96%. So I am very hopeful

That would be great if you get into the 96%.

Good luck
