My heart goes out to all whom were involved, one way or another.
I woke up this morning alerted to the attacks in Paris. I intuitively uploaded the #prayforparis symbol and was tempted to change the profile picture of this page to show my solidarity with Paris.
But then, I realised, at the same time of the Paris attacks, another bombing happened in Beirut, killing 40 and injuring 200. At this moment, violent clashes are ongoing between Israel and Palestine. Another bombing went off in Thailand, killing 4. Around 22 elephants died due to cyanide poisoning in Zimbabwe. Human trafficking in South East Asia are on the rise and a son just killed his mother in China for confiscating his phone.
So perhaps, it's not only Paris we should be praying for. We should all #prayforhumanity.
Its getting to be a sad old world, unfortunately.
I agree with you Wendells - the world has become a sad and worrying place at the moment and I worry for my grandkids. I will join you and pray for humanity.

You're absolutely right Wendells!
My deepest condolences to the Paris victims who lost their lives in the terrorism attack.....RIP.
My prayers for the survivors to make a speedy recovery.
The world should unite against these evil terrorists.
Good should, and will overcome Evil.
Velvet xx
This so sad what has become of this world I feel so sorry for the young who are growing up. My thoughts are with the family's who have lost loved ones
I will join you Karen but I agree with Wen, we need to pray for all of humanity .
The world is becoming more frightening and sad. So lovely to read the poem about hope this morning. Love Margaret x
Margaret, the world needs to unite and eradicate this scum of the face of the earth, I feel sorry for my grandchildren growing up in it Karen xx
It has been confirmed that at least one of the terrorists came via Greece as an immigrant/asylum seeker. France is closing it's borders. We must recall our troops from all foreign conflicts and secure our own borders.
European Civil War just around the corner.
Everything that the 'So Called' right have warned against is coming true.
Will our people and politicians wake up in time ?
I agree and am so sad for France. Hardly any mention has been made of those murdered & maimed by Daesh in Beirut. I wonder why. N
My prayers go to all victims of extremism & terrorism. There is nothing wrong with our beautiful world, the problem is a very small minority of people. Please look again & see all the helpers they far out number the terrorist. Its also important to rember that in an extemee financial crisis an extreme right wing Politician came to power & the results were a world disaster. So I agree let's not let these people win let's look.for the good & help it to grow Nan
