Profile picture

Can someone please tell me how to put a profile picture on.

hi Ray if you go onto your main board click on the little v next to your name then you will see profile click on that and if you have picture's on your computer just go to them selected a picture the install hope this helps nice to meet you i'm Alan

Whenever I tried it my zebra was upside down, or was showing only his nose. I don't know what I did in the end to get him right. Still trying to get a picture on the background bit above. Wanted to put on one of my paintings but can only manage a steak of sky. When you get it sorted Ray maybe you can teach me?

whenever i try to change my profile pictures mine tend to be the wrong way round too. So just to experiment Ive done just that. Trying to change pics with a picture in my photos folder the were upside down. so i placed both pics on my desktop and added from there. both picture added correctly. don't know if this would help but worth a try.

Thanks Katinka. Thought it was about time I put a profile picture on but cannot find the way to do it. Would love to see your painting. I used to do a bit myself and keep thinking about going back to it.

Well if you look at my profile you will see what I have just managed to put there. It is a quick watercolour and a bit truncated. As I say it was a vibrant September morning, about 8.30. I stopped the car because the colours were so striking. And took a few shots with iPhone. (Clever little buggers) Played with the images on my Big Mac, cropping and a few tiny adjustments. Painting is what I called my silver lining, I put up a few posts about Silver Linings a while back, i.e. things that we would not be doing if we didn't have shitty lung diseases. (Sorry about the language) Now I can't walk in the afternoons I paint while listening to audiobooks. Sheer bliss.

Do, do get back to it. There are others who have started doing it. There is very little physical exertion in lifting a brush. Maybe have an online exhibition of members pictures?

Thanks Kate. Just had a look at your picture, looks lovely, I will have to get my brushes out and try again. Do you sketch as well?

I try to always have a very small sketchbook with me and just sketch whatever is in front of me when I have to sit down. I deliberately don't choose just what is there. Tree roots, someone sitting at the cafe, ducks on the canal. Anything.

Thanks. How about getting a picture on the rectangle above? As I say I have tried every way to get one of my paintings there, and only get a strip at the top.

At least it is a colourful strip and shows some brushwork, but not quite what i wanted.

I'll have another go.

Same katinka, I put pic on my desktop first, then went to edit profile, upload picture. I was able to move the picture to where I wanted it showing.

Can putting a profile pic on only be done on a laptop or computer, as my iPhone or iPad won't let me or I'm not doing right 😜 xx Sonia xx

no Sonia, no option to upload or change pictures just edit (as in typing) on the iPad.

Sonia, same here. I can't put on a profile picture either & I use my iPad or iPhone. 😀

According to the technical help, I can't put a profile picture on if I am using a tablet or smartphone

I do have a laptop but it hasn't been used for a couple of years. I will have to charge it up and see if it still works.

Ahha! A slightly better try. Some of it is missing but it will have to do.

The picture is of our recreation field in the village on a vibrant September morning a few weeks ago, and yes, it really was as golden as that. Thanks for the help.

Oh crumbs! I can't remember and I know it took me a while but then it all suddenly came together. Not going to change it now ever. Btw the little boys in my picture are my partner's grandsons. I think they were about 6 and 3 at the time they are now just coming up to 11 and just turned 8. Time flies.

Hope someone can give you the info on putting a profile pic on.
