it can take several weeks before you notice any differents is supposed to make fev 1 better , when they done trial with it it was 12 weeks before they tested if there was an improvement in fev1 , so not sure if you been taking it long enough to feel a bit of improvement yet
I've just been taking it for one week. Thanks for reply.
It's important to try to keep the sinuses as clear as possible so flushing/douching/rinsing is a good idea. Bacteria spores can easily get into the lower respiratory tract giving you an infection there as well.
There's a ready made sterile seawater spray, Strerimar that's very good. Neilmeds Saline rinse (got mine via Amazon) is also good but you make up the saline solution from the little sachets & use the plastic bottle applicator.
When my sinuses are causing chronic head pain I use acupressure points to help drain & relieve the pressure. Demonstration on YouTube.
Have used a steroidal nasal spray for last ten years, it helps too. P
Boil water & allow to cool, wash applicator out with hot water & drop of washing up liquid, rinse & sterilise in microwave for 1min10 seconds. Fill to fill line with previously cooled boiled water(at this point I fill to above fill point & squeeze applicator onto my hand to see how hot the water is, , if necessary I put bottle in microwave to reheat for approx. 20 seconds) pour pre-mixed sachet in and mix. Over sink squeeze 1/2 bottle up one nostril, talking whilst you do so is good:), Water flows from other nostril (at this point I inhale a bit to get higher sinus'), blow water out of nose & repeat with other nostril....if taking a nasal decongestant as I do (beconase) wait 10 minutes and use it & then ...breathe easily:),
Hope this is what you wanted P
