I keep getting red marks on my tongue along with white bumps at the back it gets very sore at times and bleeds my doctor says its ulcers so Im prescribed Fluconazole it clears it but takes time I'm in agony as my tummy burns also I have stage 4 COPD and I'm on so much medication now really getting me so down

When I got mouth ulcers and bruising once I checked the leaflets that came with my meds and found they were caused by my NSAID pain killers. I stopped taking it and went back to my GP who prescribed a different NSAID that is receptor specific and doesn't affect lungs and skin the same way. It may be worth having a chat with your pharmacist to see if any of the meds you are on may be causing your mouth ulcers, Marilyn.

Sounds to me like a type of fungus related condition. It is usually caused by antibiotics. Live Yoghurt and pineapple (taken at different times of the day) works really well.
